Real-time battles are not pre-calculated, but happen in real time on the map. Anyone can join or exit a battle at any time for a true RTS game. See an ally under attack right in your backyard? Send troops to help your buddy, or launch a surprise attack on the attacker's city.

Seamless World MapAll of the action in the game takes place on one huge map inhabited by players and NPC characters. There are no isolated bases or separate battle screens. The never-before-seen "infinite zoom" feature for movement lets you switch freely between the world view and individual cities or barbarian outposts. Map features include natural obstacles such as rivers and mountains, as well as strategic passages that must be acquired to access adjacent areas.

11 unique civilizationsChoose from one of 11 historical civilizations (and more!) ), and take your civilization from a lone clan to a formidable force. Each civilization has its own architecture, unique units and special advantages.

Explore and investigate the world of Kingdom Rise covered in fog. Send out scouts to explore this mysterious land and discover the hidden treasures within. Investigate lost temples, barbarian fortresses, mysterious caves and tribal villages, gather intelligence about your enemies and prepare for the ultimate conflict!

Unrestricted troop movement

New orders can be placed on troops at any time, providing unlimited strategic possibilities. Launch dummies in enemy cities, then turn back to rendezvous with your allies for a pass. Send troops to gather wood from nearby forests and have them pick up some barbaric clans along the way. Forces can also be distributed among multiple commanders so that you can participate in multiple actions at once.

Alliance SystemFull alliance features allow players to help each other: Alliance chat with built-in translation, officer roles, map indicators to coordinate strategy, and more! Alliances can expand their territories to gain resources, capture mountain passes and barbarian outposts to enhance their position, and work together to unleash group achievements.
